Context

Dorothee offers mediation and systemic counselling for individuals, couples, and families. She had the content ready but no website to present it. I was brought in for the design and build, with full creative freedom over how the site looked and worked.

Her clients arrive during difficult periods, often after a long delay before seeking help. The site needed to present her work clearly and set a calm, professional tone, without pushing the visitor toward a decision.

Approach

Structure

I organised the site around her distinct services so visitors can locate the one relevant to their situation without reading through the rest. Each area has its own clear entry point.

Tone

I kept the layout quiet and unhurried: generous spacing, restrained typography, and her own outdoor photography from the walk-and-talk sessions. No sales patterns, no pop-ups, no pressure to act immediately.

Trust

I presented her professional qualifications alongside a short personal profile, so visitors get both her credentials and a sense of who she is before making contact.

Result

The site guides visitors toward a single, low-commitment step: a free 30-minute first conversation by phone or email. It launched in 2025 and is live.
